The roots of this oil was named after Gene Sturdivant a distributor of oil before it was purchased by Henry and Anker Fanoe who opened Gilmore Fuels in 1933 but liked the name ‘Sturdy’ so much they decided to name the entire company after it.
The Sturdy company still operates today in the U.S.
The condition is used with age related wear and tear and the the cap is missing.
